Have you ever wanted to ride a fire truck in a parade?  You can, if you submit the winning entry to this year’s Fourth of July parade theme contest.

The Palisades Americanism Parade Association (PAPA) encourages all residents to submit their creative and patriotic theme ideas for the 2012 Pacific Palisades Fourth of July Parade.  If you have more than one great idea, submit them all; there are no limit on the number of theme suggestions per entrant.

Just be sure to submit your entry before February 24, 2012 via e-mail to info@palisadesparade.org. Please include with your entry your name and a telephone number where we can reach you.  The winning theme will be announced on this website and in the Palisadian-Post, and the winner will be invited to ride on Engine 69 during the parade (subject to LAFD availability at time of parade).
