We need YOU to help make this Fourth of July the best ever in Pacific Palisades.
PAPA needs close to 100 volunteers on July 4th, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Volunteering is fun and gives you a wonderful sense of civic pride. We can use your help for as little as one hour . . . or for the entire day!

Parking Lot Monitors
Secure and monitor parking lots used for staging and VIP parking

PAPA People Command Post
Set up/take-down/assist volunteer manager

Cart Drivers
Shuttle materials and VIPs throughout Village

Luncheon Assistance
Help with set-up, service and take down for VIP Luncheon
Multiple Shifts
10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Traffic Control
Assist with street closures and directing motorists to alternative routes
Two shifts
Noon - 4:00 p.m.
Grandstand Attendants
Serve as usher for VIP Grandstands, while getting a great view of the parade
Noon – 3:30 p.m.
Banner Carrier
Carry a banner down Sunset Boulevard in the Parade
Approx.
1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Concert Set Up
Assist with set-up at Palisades H.S. Stadium
4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Concert Gate Attendants
Collect admission and pass out flags to concert attendees
Two shifts
5:45 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
7:15 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.
Concert Ushers
Serve as usher for concert and enjoy the music and fireworks from a great vantage point
Two shifts
5:45 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
7:15 p.m. – 9:15 p.m..
Concert Take Down
Assist with concert take-down at Palisades H.S. Stadium
After 9:30 p.m.
